Esta sesión, liderada por ACAIRE – Asociación Colombiana de Acondicionamiento del Aire y Refrigeración, reunirá a expertos para analizar el estado actual, las oportunidades y los desafíos de la formación profesional en refrigerantes naturales en Latinoamérica. Se abordarán mejores prácticas, seguridad y normativa, junto con acciones para cerrar brechas y fortalecer las competencias para la transición hacia sistemas sostenibles.

Panel de discusión: estándares y regulaciones
Erik Dhaenens, Consejero de medio ambiente, cambio climático y empleo, Delegación de la Unión Europea ante la República de Colombia se unirá al panel para abordar la perspectiva de la Unión Europea, la regulación de los gases fluorados, así como los mecanismos de inversión y apoyo de la UE en LATAM.

The ATMOsphere LATAM 2026 program in Bogotá continues to grow, with new sessions and additional confirmed speakers.
Training Panel
This session, led by ACAIRE (Colombian Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration), will bring together experts to analyse the current state, opportunities and challenges of professional training in natural refrigerants in Latin America.
Best practices, safety and regulations will be addressed, along with actions to close gaps and strengthen the competencies needed for the transition to sustainable systems.

Policy panel: standards and regulations
Erik Dhaenens, Environmental, climate change, and employment counselor, Delegation of the European Union to Colombia, will join the panel to share the European Union’s perspective, including F-gas regulations and the EU’s investment and support mechanisms in Latin America.
