Welcome & Introduction

Keynote Presentation by CoolPlanet

The keynote presentation addressed how natural refrigerant based companies will help deliver decarbonisation for end users, leveraging live data and latest technologies.

Heat Pump Market Trends Panel

Key experts shared the latest market and policy trends from around the world on natural refrigerant technologies, with a special focus on heat pumps. They discussed the trends affecting the industry, either driving or impeding the uptake of natural refrigerants.

Impact of Refrigerants: REACH Regulation Panel

Panel discussion on the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) plans to take up a proposal to restrict some HFC and HFO refrigerants and TFA as PFAS – applying the “polluter pays” principle – under the EU’s REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulation.

HVAC & Heat Pumps – Part 1

In this session, panelists discussed the rapidly growing demand for HVAC and heat pumps solutions in Europe, as well as the potential for natural refrigerants to make an impact and take market share. They also investigated the potential and significant energy savings achieved with natural heat pump solutions.

Transport & MAC Session

Looking at the transport sector and the opportunities for natural refrigerant to grow – both in mobile air conditioning (MAC) and transport applications. What is currently available and what is needed?

HVAC & Heat Pumps – Part 2

In this session, panelists discussed the rapidly growing demand for HVAC and heat pumps solutions in Europe, as well as the potential for natural refrigerants to make an impact and take market share. They also investigated the potential and significant energy savings achieved with natural heat pump solutions.

SF6-Free Switchgear Session

Panelists talked about SF 6 -free technologies, their applications and place on the market, and highlighted the need for an ambitious EU F-Gas Regulation phasing down SF 6.

End User Keynote by Nestlé

This keynote presentation, by longtime Nestlé executive Vincent Grass, showed how sustainable refrigeration is crucial to combatting climate change. It also addressed Nestlé’s overall carbon footprint and net-zero roadmap, as well as its plans to achieve decarbonisation, from an end user perspective.

Impact of Refrigerants: EU F-Gas Policy Panel

Key representatives discussed the latest developments in terms of the EU F-gas Regulation review, applicable regulatory issues, and standards impacting natural refrigerants in Europe.

Refrigeration Case Studies – Part 1

Case studies presented by leading manufacturers, commercial and industrial applications of natural refrigerants.

Cold Chain Innovation Hub Philippines — Project Updates and Industry Opportunities

Presentation on the latest updates for the CCI-Hub project, including the installation of the latest natural refrigerants technologies at the CCI-Hub, ongoing training programmes and planned developments. The Cold Chain Innovation Hub (CCI-Hub) is the official platform for the “Global Partnership for Improving the Food Cold Chain in the Philippines” project. The project aims to identify, develop and stimulate the application of low-carbon, energy-efficient refrigeration technologies and business practices throughout the food cold chain to increase food safety and food security.

Keynote by Replique

This keynote presentation addressed the work of Replique, a German start up, providing a digital inventory platform solving supply chain issues by providing a more sustainable production and logistics utilising 3D printing.

End User Best Practice Session

Leading end users shared their experiences using different types of natural refrigerant technologies, including benefits, challenges and future plans.

Refrigeration Case Studies – Part 2

Case studies presented by leading manufacturers, commercial and industrial applications of natural refrigerants.
